Diagnosing a Gaming Addiction is easier said than done

As of the time of this posting, no one is professionally diagnosing anyone with an addiction to video gaming. It is of course being suggested that the symptoms of gaming addiction are very much like the symptoms of other addictions - for example, alcoholism. With that said there is currently no list of requirements that one would have to meet to be considered addicted to video games but it seems like, based on what many are saying, we are not far from this happening.
